Laurel Design-Hayes, for many years a student of metaphysics, uses luminosity and iridescence to offer viewers a glance at the shimmering that she believes is the Light whence we came, the Light we are made of and, the Light to which we shall return.
Having one foot firmly planted on Earth, Laurel is drawn toward the ethereal--the place of feeling--which she describes on various surfaces such as canvas, jewelry pins, furniture, greeting cards, etc.
